Network protocol fuzzing is a vulnerability discovery technique which consists on manipulating a network protocol to evaluate the robustness of their components. This technique is proven  very effective for vulnerability discovery  as in certain scenarios the components involved in the communication can not handle properly unexpected data and it may lead to memory corruption vulnerabilities.

Network components usually communicate in certain way, following agreed rules. Network fuzzing is a technique which breaks those rules in order to identify security issues.
When unexpected data is received it is important that the components are robust and secure in order to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the infrastructure.
SECFORCE has proven experience developing fuzzing tools for many protocols.
SECFORCE has not just developed fuzzers for specific protocols but also 'protocol agnostic' fuzzers that allows efficient testing of any protocol.

We welcome any questions or requests you may have about our Protocol Fuzzing service; please don't hesitate to contact us and one of our consultants will get back to you as soon as possible.
